Ehtisab Commission gets 13 days custody of PTI Minister

PESHAWAR: A court sent accountability KP Provincial Minister for Minerals Development Ziaullah Afridi in a physical return of 13 days in the custody of the Ehtesab Commission Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPEC).

Afridi, a leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and MPA from Peshawar, was placed under house arrest Thursday by staff Ehtesab Commission which was created last year by the provincial government through Law KPEC. The minister is accused of abuse of authority and allowing illegal mining in various areas.

After Afridi’s arrest on Thursday, PTI Chairman Imran Khan said that the provincial party minister for mines and minerals would have to resign until cleared himself.
