ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan spoke to reporters after the session of Parliament was adjourned until 5 pm.
President PTI sarcastically thanked the welcome given to members of his party by some lawmakers PML-N. Khan asked whether there should be an investigation into electoral fraud or not.
Khan added that the formation of the judicial commission to investigate voter fraud would be beneficial for democracy. “We returned to the assembly after the judicial commission was formed”.
The PTI chief said that all parties had admitted that the rig had taken place during the general elections of 2013.
“If all parties are saying the rigging took place, how the choice is not false, how is that Parliament is not false?”
“The future elections be free and fair if the test probe rig,” Khan said. He said the PTI had evidence of rigging to be presented before the judicial commission.
Imran Khan and his party lawmakers returned to parliament after seven months to attend joint session on Monday on the crisis in Yemen.
In August 2014, PTI MNA had resigned in protest AN alleged manipulation in the general election of 2013.
