Actress Shilpa Shetty, who found popularity in Britain after winning a season of “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2007, has become a radio jockey to talk about Bollywood with people in London. She will be in a special show on BBC Radio 2.
The actress, who is married to businessman Raj Kundra, led the micro-blogging site Twitter to share details of the fair, which will go live in September.
“Working day in London. Recording a series of shows that introduce the mainstream Bollywood here on BBC Radio 2. It will air in September,” Shilpa tweeted.
The actress interacted with the melody queen Lata Mangeshkar Bollywood and entertainment Karan Johar teacher for the issue. She feels “indebted” to the two for taking the time to delve into his journey into the world of the show.
“So much fun recording, spoke conmangeshkarlata ykaranjohar. Thanku both for sampling a special way indebted to you two,” the actress has written more.
Elated by the new role, the actress “Dhadkan” published two photographs of herself in the way of radio jockey. She shared these images on the website for sharing photos Instagram with the caption: “The new RJ in the house.”
After her stint on the silver screen, the actress became an entrepreneur and has made a name for herself in the business world.
Shilpa runs a chain IOSIS spa and wellness and she is also co-owner of the Indian Premier League franchise Rajasthan Royals to. She even has a jewelry business, and is an expert of fitness success.
The actress also entered the small screen as a judge and host a series of shows like “Bigg Boss” and “Nach Baliye”.
