Adult film star turned Bollywood actress Sunny Leone on Wednesday (May 26) visited the headquarters of Thane police and met with officials of cyber crime cell based in the local part of a recent FIR registered against him.
Dombivli police station in the district of Thane was on May 14 Sunny Leone booked under Indian Penal Code, the Indecent Representation of Women Act and the Information Technology Act, and referred the complaint to the cell Cybercrime for further research.

The FIR was after Anjali Palan recorded, a housewife based Dombivli and social activist complained to the police against the photographs and videos on the website of Sunny Leone, saying they were pornographic in nature and resulted in obscenity in society.
Joint Commissioner of Police VV Laxminarayan, Thane confirmed that Sunny Leone visited the headquarters Tuesday.
“Sunny Leone came to the premises of the headquarters with his lawyer and met with officials of the cyber crime cell that are investigating the case. He recorded his statement and left,” Laxminarayan said.
A spokesman for Sunny Leone, when contacted, declined to comment, saying the matter was sub judice.
