Continuing his career gold at the box office, Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan starrer “Tanu Weds Manu Returns” has crossed the mark of Rs 100 crore worldwide.
“It crosses a brand #TanuWedsManuReturns 100 cr Worldwide (India + Overseas) Total: 101.67 CR IMPRESSIVE.” Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted Saturday.
Directed by Anand L. Rai, “Tanu Weds Manu Returns” is a sequel to the 2011 hit film director “Tanu Weds Manu”. It focuses on the rediscovery of the love between a married couple, and Kangana has a dual role and has a supporting cast of actors Jimmy Sheirgill, Deepak Dobriyal and Swara Bhaskar.
The film was not only massive response from critics and the public, but also the film fraternity.
“Tanu Weds Manu Returns” it is said to be the highest grossing film of 2015 in terms of first week at the box office collections.
Posted on May 22, the film collected Rs.38.10 crore in its first weekend.
